once the admin has taken a look at your application, it will be moved to one of the subboards inside depending on what group your character is in. once they're moved into the archives, they will be locked and you won't be able to modify them. but if something really needs fixing, feel free to ask me to unlock them.

cell phones are a great way of communicating. i'm sure there's somebody you're going to need to get a hold of when you're out and about, and cell phones allow you to do just that. text messaging is probably the most common use of cell phone communication, but that doesn't mean there's still no such thing as phone calls.

the internet is another great source of communication, and what is better than chatting with your friends over the lovely aim? people find this messenger to be rather quick and efficient when making plans with friends, and some people think it's surely a hell of a lot easier than picking up a phone.

myspace is a rather popular website amongst young people, and even older. almost everybody around here has a myspace. it's actually a pretty good way to learn about people you may not necessarily know. you can comment people, post bulletins, put up pictures of yourself, etc.

exeter academy is one of the best high schools in all of new york. actually, it's one of the best high schools in all of the country. kids from all over the world come to new york city just to attend exeter academy. if you're attending this school, chances are that you're either really smart, or your parents have money. and if neither of those two things are the case, you just got lucky.

want to grab a bite to eat? head on down to one of the many restaurants located here in new york city. there's apple bees to taco bell and everything in between, and past that. so if you're not feeling like cooking for yourself, order a pizza or go down to any of the restaurants and stuff your face. go by yourself and see who's out on the town, or go with friends.

in a city like new york, there's no way that it could go without an art gallery. a taste of art features everything from abstract art that you could stare at for hours and not know what the hell it is, statues and sculptures, the occasional nude, landscapes and any other type of painting imaginable.

the park in the middle of new york city is huge! it has trees and pathways that run all through it and huge fields, playgrounds for small children, and benches for people to sit in. a stream runs through it and always has a lot of little children looking for rocks and little fishes. it's also a favorite spot for lovebirds.

so, the city is always full of life and partying, and one of the major things are the big concerts that go on. here at madison square garden is where these big concerts are usually held. join in on the action! buy your ticket and listen to the live music here.

starbucks is the perfect place to get your coffee fix. what would new york be without the well-known, and extremely tasty starbucks coffee? located across the road from the ramada inn, this specific starbucks is a student favorite.

rainer lanes is a bowling alley located in new york city. it's quite cheap to bowl, making it a rather popular spot. every friday and saturday nights it's rock and bowl; when they turn off the lights, and play music, letting the place be lit by a large disco ball.

downtown there's a cute little book store, right above the coffee shop. it's painted a bright purple with book shelves all over and drapes and stuff. it's really quite adorable and has every type of book imaginable there for you to explore.

the new york city zoo is an amazing thing. animals from all over the globe are in spacious, beautiful enclosures that resemble their natural habitat. the animals are all happy and well taken care of, as well as the whole park is very well taken care of.

if you're the cinematic type, this is just the place for you. romantic comedies, science fiction, fantasy, every show you could imagine is played here. everybody loves the movies. dates and mates and all those good times that everybody has at the theater, including the giant buttery popcorn.

for those of you that enjoy swimming, this is the place for you. children's pools to one side, one for lanes, a hot tub and a whole other pool for the diving boards. there's a sauna and a steam room too, for those who just want to sit. the pool is huge, to accommodate the enormous population.

what is new york without times square? it's more or less the center of new york. it's where all the new years celebrations take place, and a whole lot of other things. people all over the world know about times square.

this is where the bad boys and girls go. if the police pick you up, they'll bring you here and book you in. if your crime is minor, they will hold you in the back until your time is served. if you've been particularly naughty and got a large sentence, then you'll get dragged to the big house. new york is a busy, active place. these police are kept on their toes, and know what they're doing.

if you hurt yourself, this is where you would go. they have a very good nursing staff and friendly, reliable doctors. it's probably one of the best hospitals in the country, and their track record is amazing. although, that doesn't really make it less of a hospital, does it? all in all, this is the best hospital atleast in new your city, and whether you're having a baby or have some radical disease, they will treat you here.

the shopping district in new york is immense. it spreads many many blocks and is full of expensive stores. anything you could possibly want you can find in new york city. from gucci to hollister to dolce and gabbana, there's a store here. provided you can afford it, that is. but don't let this get you down. there are stores and shops for the not-so wealthy as well. face it, there's anything and everything you can think about in the shopping district.

just as there are many stores, bars, clubs, and people in new york, there are also many hotels. but the one closest to the university and the academy is the ramada inn, which is actually a very nice hotel, with decent rates.

for those of you that are into the skate scene, the one in new york is one of the best. it's always kept up well, and the only people that really use it are people who are serious about the sport. it's one place that hasn't turned into a little kid's playground. don't challenge these people if you don't know what you're doing, because they sure do.

not nearly as fancy as the homes in kings row, but these houses are pretty nice too. middle class, if you will. the people here have a nice neighborhood, but not the best of the best. the houses range from upper-middle class type homes to lower-middle class. For the 'average joe' type of person. little violence goes on here.

these condos are nice. not anything like a home, but they work for a small family, a single civilian, or even a student who doesn't wish to live in the dorms at the university. most would say these condominiums should have been built on kings row. located pretty close to the university of new york, it's a good choice for said students.

these homes aren't the best. but they're definitely better than the townhouses. nobody really wants to live in houses that aren't in the greatest of conditions, and are rather small, but hey. a house is a house. some people buy these homes to fix them up and re-sell them. others live here because they simply can't afford anymore. others even live here because they think the neighborhood is alright. crime happens to show its ugly face here a little more often than in kings row and parkington heights.
